Another thing: why did the parents convienently catch two separate rides over to the house instead of driving one of their vans. It is odd that Maytee had to call her cousin in the middle of the night to come and pick her up to drive her over to the house...instead of driving herself. And if you listen to the very first 9-11 call...Maytee is able to tell the operator the exact adress of the house, it is a four digit address. I'll bet that there aren't a lot of people who know the exact address of their own parents home...yet alone their son's girlfriends parents house. it is clear that Maytee knows more than what she is saying....I sure hope that investigators don't screw this up.
you've got some good points about the family. i go back and forth about them several times a day. they are unquestionably strange (at least maytee is). i'm sure a lot of what she showed of herself after the murder was do to being "out of her mind with grief" but i think there is no denying that she is a bit on the crazy side. there is also no denying that the family has been mixed up in some trouble (at least in the past) judging from their wrap sheets. IMO she seems to be the type that tried to be a little over-involved in JC's life. what i can't decide is did maytee suspect something to be terribly wrong because she knew he was mixed up with trouble or because she knew trouble was brewing (even if it was just through the grapevine). do i think she wanted her son and lisa dead... NO. i however (judging from what i've discovered about her), would not put it past her to have the house robbed.
IMO she knows more than she's letting out publicly... even if it's just that johnny was not such "a good boy" and may have had some enemies. i can't understand not wanting to paint that picture for the public... but let's hope she's being totally honest with the police when questioned.
Anyone know how many of the suspicious people we are talking about here have actual jobs? (Maytee, Dad, TW, AG)?
