He was at someone's house or watching a game or swimming, right?
What if he offered a ride to two or three people he knew who said
they needed to to X,Y,Z and he said, "Hey, ride along with me. I
just have to pick up Lisa from Friday's then make a stop at the
house so she can change her clothes, then we can be going on our
way. (Whether it to get beers or Tiff, or whatever.)
My kids would often make pit stops at my house (usually ours, actually)
change clothes, 'grab sweets from the sweet drawer, and raid the
refrigerator. They were quick stops and always nice for me to
connect with them. They were always giving rides to people and
I met new kids all the time.
Suppose the 'newbies' stayed in the car and then came in, or
came in an then started getting weird?
He was watching the probowl the night before with a girl named Bre and her man.
This is an interesting theory and, based on time tables, could very well have happened.
