I have gone through many of the "friends" trying to figure out the gangs. I see several people posted that Donald and Aaron were Bloods. However, most of the language and info that I have seen by many of the other friends indicates that they were Crips.

Also, I found a picture on "Toledo Hoodz" FB page that appears to be Aaron, Ronald, Tiffany, and 2 others with the tag “1200WALBRIDGE DUBBLOCC.” Check it out and tell me what you think!!

In Vic Dominguez FB, I found a picture of a group of people with "Nuestra Familia" written across the picture. Unfortunately, this pic was small and became blurry when I enlarged it to try and make out some of the faces. So, does this indicate that Vic is part of the Nuestra Familia? If so, how do all these people from different gangs hang out together? This is what Vic posted on Johnny's online memorial:

So, they grew up together in the same neighborhood and had just been hanging out together again for the 2 weeks before he was murdered. Hhmmm....

According to Bre (Vic's girlfriend) and Vic, they were with Johnny before he left to pick up Lisa from work.

Does anyone else notice "I`m SOO Sorry You Guys Had To Go Through That" as being a strange thing to say?!?!?! If one of my friends were brutally murdered, I wouldn't think, I'm sorry that they HAD to go THROUGH that, it would be more like I can't believe this happened to them! Thoughts????

So, these are just a few of the notes that I have collected....

I'm from the same area in Toledo that Johnny and his friends are from. These kids change gangs like you change your underwear. This isn't Compton, it's a fake wanna be Detroit. Girls change depending on who they are dating, etc. Toledo is full of wanna be gang bangers and wanna be big time drug dealers. I'm not too surprised if they are claiming one set on one page and another the next week.

I'm wondering how you know all of this. You're too articulate to have been in a gang. What makes you think these people are wannabees? I lived in Long Beach & Los Angeles, rescued dogs in Compton and south central, and they look just like the dirtbags out there. Someone associated with this crowd just murdered Johnny & Lisa in a horrific and sadistic manner. That's doesn't sound like wannabees to me.

LOL, thank you for the compliment, but yes, I did run around with gangs. I dated a drug dealer, which is why I know a little about how to be successful in the game.

I'm articulate because I decided to go to college after high school then chose to "get the fuck outta dodge" after I I had my kid. I didn't want my kid being raised in a place like Toledo. I saw some crazy stuff there and high tailed it clear across the country. Now that I've lived somewhere else, I can tell you that Toledo is definitely it's own deal...FUCKING CRAZY.

Yes, wannabe gang bangers and drug dealers will do something like this in Toledo to try to get some clout. When I was there, some of my classmates killed and stuffed another classmate down a drain pipe over drugs. This is how we get respect in Toledo. The reason I call the gang bangers "wannabes" is because in places like Compton and LA, you have the original gangsters. These are the people that live and breathe the gang life. Like, their grandmothers do drive-by's, lol.

Well, I sure know what you mean about the little white kid wannabees that exist all across America (and overseas!) but I'm thinking that hard core gangs have also moved around the country, as well. MS13 is in the midwest, ffs. There comes a point where this is no longer emulation but the real deal. Looking at Tiffany's mother shows me that Tiffany is (at least) second generation. I'm also really interested in Maytee's origins. Considering she's Cuban, my mind keeps returning to south Florida and THAT bunch of Cubans that came over during the Carter administration. I would also point out that looking at all of the FM and MySpace pages will show that these people are NOT white kid wannabees. Some of that shit looks, to borrow a phrase, straight out of Compton. In a span of just 10 years, things can really change and I would not underestimate the degree of what Toledo is dealing with. jmho, of course.

I'd like to add, here, since we're all discussing this stuff, if people have not seen the film 'Colors', go rent it. It's not over the top, at all, and it is a very accurate representation of real life gang culture.
