I think she's referring to the bodies. It probably would've been better for the investigation if LE found the bodies untouched.

Yeah, I jumped to the wrong conclusion there! I agree that it would have been best for LE to find the bodies, or even someone less emotionally involved who would have waited for LE to arrive.
