Just wanted to quote this because there has been so much speculation on where the car actually was.

OK. If my son was at his girl friend's and I saw the car, I would
suppose that they went out with someone else which is why
they did not answer the door or phone. There are places in Ohio
that do not get cell service regularly. Basement clubs do not
get cell phone signals. The last party I went to they asked us
to seal our phones in a locker (we had the key) as they did
not want photos taken at the party.
This is what would have gone through my mind given the
circumstances.
So
All I can deduce is that Maytee knew that Johnny did not leave
the house and she and John wanted to get to him asap Whether it
be to save him, get something from him, get info from him...
who knows....
So if someone called you and said your son was supposed to go pick up his friend, and she heard him questioning who some guy was or why he was there (whatever was said) and heard that guy yelling back and then wasn't answering your phone calls or texts, you would just blow it off and take it as him being out with other friends? I highly doubt it.
