I tend to think Johnny was not working. I believe Maytee would have said that from the get-go, if he were. Also, where Lisa worked, was released, so if Johnny had a job, it would have been released also. From what I gather he wasn't actually GOING to 'barber school' ... I've read, more than one comment , that he was going to "start" barber school. I remember thinking, he hadn't actually started yet ..
