Whose blood? And how did it get all over if Lisa and Johnny didnt have

It's been speculated that maybe Johnny injured one of the perps. Maybe cutting that person with a knife ?? I have to believe Johnny put up a hard fight, one way or the other, before he was subdued.
The only way Johnny was able to put up a big fight is if there were only one or two intruders. There could have been, say four, intruders which would mean they could overtake Johnny fairly easily and get his hands and feet all taped up so they can begin using Lisa to get info out of Johnny. That would explain why Johnny's face and head weren't all bloody.
