In the second 911 call Maytee states that she is with her cousin who is in the military.
I don't think she would need a babysitter because the one son is 15. But she could have waited for someone, considering what was going on and not wanting to leave them alone.
Well when I was 15 I used to watch my little brother all of the time. My mom would've said "son, watch your brother, me and your dad are going somewhere for a little while to check on your older brother. We think he needs help".
