They may not consider it any different than the 60s generation flashing the peace sign. Simply a common bonding in a culture where you are presenting your identity. In Nazi Germany you were either "IN" or "OUT" and out was more dangerous than being in. If can we learn anything from history; as a culture we need to confront a sweeping moral decay in the US and do it soon while there are still more of us than them; or one day we may have a gangsta president, legally elected who suspends the constitution in "Hitleresque" repeat of history.
