I agree with this. I dated a mexican dude in my early 20's for about 6 years total & I was taken aback by how the males were treated in the family vs how the females were treated. I have no doubt that the females were loved just as much, in fact they were always defended by all of the males... father, brothers, cousins & even extended family BUT the males of the family were doted upon by the females. Very old school IMO

Exactly why I (and Im SO not racists at all...not a racist bone in my body)
have told my girls I dont want them to marry a Mexican. The women arent
necessarily treated bad, but they arent treated like the males are.
The women are completely subservient to them, and raised to be so.
