If engaging in a double torture-murder doesn't remove the "wannabe" from one's description, what does?

Also, they may mean "professional" in the sense that it was done to send a message to others, like a "Columbian necktie" would. It was definitely not surgical, but I get the sense that if someone is capable of killing in this manner, they could easily have killed before. This method required a strong stomach, a lot of balls, and a certain degree of strength and confidence. In that sense, it could be construed as "professional."
