Agreed "definitive statement" for sure. I'm thinking maybe Johnny was fronted some drugs, but didn't have the money to pay back ? Or maybe he actually stole somone else's drugs, like a nice sized/for resale stash. If that's the case, the person he stole from isn't going to contact LE about the theft. Well, either way, for that matter. Maybe LE has gotten wind of a certain 'group' that uses plastic bags as a "statement" ? The Sgt makes it sound pretty cut & dry, IMO
Or it could be that he was just stepping on someone's turf. That is what gets you shot in my town. Getting in between a thug and his paper. They might let you know in other ways at first, but if you laugh them off, or dis them in some way, you are going to get shot. Period. Why plastic bags? I have know idea. But it was a clean way to kill.
