I've heard every excuse known to man about why Tiffany didn't summon help for 2 hours LOL I'm asking about the people who actually committed the murders.

Probably by looking simply looking at his phone, and at this point they're in there regardless and I don't think they would run out because he was on the phone. They had a job to do, and they did it.
