Exactly.
I think just the presence of a uniformed cop makes law-abiding citizens feel better and makes criminals less likely to do their criminal deeds. I have absolutely no problem with cops patrolling their beat. What I do have a huge problem with is cops who are arrogant, abusive of their power, cast aspersions on innocent individuals and ... well the list goes on. But of course they aren't all bad. Never said they were.
