(They were following him and when he tossed a cigarette on the ground,
they retrieved it and Walla!....one less perv on the loose.)
O WOW! I hadnt heard they were following him a retrieved a cigarette he threw out the window! GOOD ONE LE!
Once something with your DNA leaves your possession in a public place, the police are free (and have done so many times) to retrieve it.
I saw once they sat and waited for someone to leave an outdoor restaurant. The guy left his empty paper cup on the table. Once he walked away, police swooped in and took it. Bam! They had their evidence.
