Now I see a version of Schiavone's remarks to trustees in which he is quoted as saying:

"He said that both victims had prior records that included drug-related charges."

I don't recall seeing this in the previously published reports of his remarks at that meeting, and I don't recall any drug charges against Lisa being mentioned as being found here on Mock.

Is my recollection correct? I thought she had had one DUI and that was it.

Also noted is that, at the same meeting, he announced his retirement from the Sheriff's staff after 30 years.

Why are the drug-related records/arrests of the VICTIMS even being mentioned? Is this just another way to deflect the inability of his department to solve this crime?
