If you think about it, that's pretty much what the Sgt made it sound like, with "the perps have probably left the area" , etc..... leaving it too cut & dry. I know I'm not wording this all right, but in MY mind, I know what I'm talking about, LOL. You have to remember, the Sgt knows how the crime scene looked, knows what all the interviews consisted of, etc ... There's a reason he stated everything he stated to those residents, & I don't think it was ONLY to make them feel safe. jmo
I know what your saying, I kind of thought the same thing, because he was retiring, I' m thinking some of it is just his own opinion, like the "professional hit" and they have left the town...he probably figured he was out of there, so why not???
