Could you please clarify - are you saying that the neighbors are not in fear because the people who "would hang out at Lisa's" were not scary?;
or are you saying that the neighbors thought that the people who "would hang out at Lisa's" were scary, and that they are now not in fear because they don't think those people will come around any more now that she is dead?
Sorry about that. They said the type of people that hung around were pretty shady and that they heard he was in a gang, although I know Maytee refutes that. What they were getting at was they don't keep this type of company, so they don't feel as if they are in danger.
Did their neighbor say WHEN these shady people hung around there? Was it the whole time Johnny lived there or only after Lisa's parents went on holiday?
They spend a lot of time at their cottage. Lisa's friends could have been around then I suppose.
