Trust me, most kids do not go to their parents, that is almost the last place they go, which is sad, because parents would help in anyway they could, but most times parents are not the first avenue young adults go down. I would love to believe that they would, like Maytee, but I know better because I am a parent of 2 young adults. I don't think they thought they were in any danger either, JC trusted his neighborhood friends, and maybe he mentioned a safe and maybe he didn't mention a safe, but to some of his old neighborhood buddies JC was dating a girl from "rich ville" and now he was even living in "rich vill"...
