I agree, but when your raised in an area, and these are your friends in grade school, middle school and growing up, it's very hard to shake, I have seen this within my own family with my sister's one son, no matter what she did, he would go back to the friends in the old neighborhood, some were great kids no matter what environment they grew up in but others turned out to be straight up criminals, but to him they were his friends and that loyalty almost killed him...
