I watched one of the crime shows on A&E or discovery channel the other day. A serial killer in Washington or Oregon State was Killing prostitutes for quite a while. It came to a point where as he killed more he learned how to cover his tracks, He would shot them in the head and after a while he started putting a bag with a smiley face over there head as if to move them to their dumping ground he would not get blood on his vehicle. This crime ended up being solved by the police by one and I mean one red fiber found on one of the victims that they ended up matching to a red corvette. The man was caught. He was a well respected helicopter pilot that lived in the suburbs with a wife and kids. My point is. If a single red fiber caught a serial killer I have no doubt this will be solved
