I'm sorry but we'll have to agree to disagree. If I found/witnessed/committed such a henious act the ONLY thing i would state to 911 is there are two people dead, we need help now. NEVER could I imagine finding my out that my son dead ir anyone for that matter was dead/murdered and state something to the effect of..."why didn't they just shoot them..." Appalling, no excuse in my book, none.
