I think it will be solved, and that LE probably knows now who did it. It might be taking a long time for them to prove it.
Not to pick on you, but I think this "cart b4 the horse" thinking can be part of the problem. If they can't "prove" who did it, then they can't "know" who did it. They may have hunches, or guesses though, but that is different. People in general have a habit of coming to a conclusion, and then making the facts prove the conclusion. I hope either LE has "proof" who did it and is just crossing t's and dotting I's OR they don't have proof and they are keeping an open mind to any and all posibilities. Again, that wasn't meant to pick on you 1-4theRD. I appriciate your posts.
You're absolutely right in what you're saying, Notsure - my post was poorly worded. What I meant to say was that I think they have strong hunches about who did it based on experience, the crime scene, maybe informants, but it might be a lengthy process to build a watertight case. I'm sure there was evidence at the scene that pointed to or at least suggested who the killers were, and who knows, maybe even the method of execution spoke to LE. I'm sure it would bolster a case if they could turn one of the participants against the others, but because of the "stop snitching" mentality this might not be an option and therefore they have to build an even stronger case than normal to ensure that once these creeps are arrested they'll never hit the streets again.
