I'm local, which most of you probably know by now, but one of the first things that I heard, source being LE, but NOT LCSO, was that the crime scene looked as if there had been a fight and/or a major struggle. I heard that things were turned over and out of place, as if there had been a struggle, not so much a ransacking as if it was a robbery gone bad.... what I don't know is what the LE meant when they said that, did they mean just one room, just the living room where the bodies were found, just the kitchen, etc. I didn't really have a chance to clarify what they meant.
I know that in the article I read last night Verbosky stated that the downstairs, I want to say he said eat in kitchen area that leads to the living area/family room, looked as if there had been a struggle with plants & other things knocked over BUT he made it clear that it was not ransacked. Then he went on to describe how the Master bedroom, he said Jeff & Mary Beths room, was ransacked & it looked like a movie etc.
I don't know where the vents being removed came from. I can't remember if that was in a official story or if that was brought here as rumor. If it's true then I agree that, that sounds like drugs. Especially when combined with evidence seized which was reported by news outlets. Scales & baggies. Just another reason why the "safe" is bothering me. I would have never suspected anything about a safe until Verbosky said that "they were looking for a safe" It's made me question why or how he is so sure of that. Given that it never existed.
