Seriously, how about a very disgruntled and agitated neighbour he thought he'd snoop and plunder through the Straub's he was ever so jealous because they had money to go on this trip - he has financial woes up the arse, he's in desperate straits and needs money to get to the casino. He never dreamed he'd get caught and here he was trapped upstairs. The rest of the story you know.
