Family friends had a dastardly deed perpetrated on one of their own.
Years went by. LE said it was an 'open case' and most people thought
they knew who did it. One person was in jail for violating parole. Six
years later, three hours before the 'parole violator' was to be let free,
the Feds moved in, issued every kind of charge they could (19) and he
was apprehended and moved to a worse institution. Two others were
picked up at the same time on the outside; they had spent time in and
out of jail. They sat in jail three more years until the trial and then
had their trials. The jury gave them life. The judge over-ruled it and
gave them 42 years plus three consecutive life sentences with no
parole.
