There is something about her behavior that keeps making me feel like she carries some guilt about what happened. That may be entirely wrong but it's just a gut feeling. I don't know if she had dangerous acquaintances that she pissed off, was on the edge of some serious drug cartel stuff (dunno if those stories about her husband being in a heroin bust were true), from the very beginning it seemed she knew right away that a worst case scenario had occurred and I wonder why.

As a mother, you carry a certain amount of guilt that perhaps you should have done this or that differently...even if your children, by society's standards, are great kids etc.
Im wondering if the guilt she feels is more along the lines of if I had made better choices, if I had done things differently, maybe, JUST MAYBE, my son would still be alive.
I know anytime my children have made a choice that wasnt so good, I took it personally, and questioned my ability as a mother. The whole "what did I do wrong" etc....
