Probable cause can be "made" sometimes to kick a door in for the fact of lives can be at stake here! IMO, plenty doors have been kicked in for less than a phone call or two to 911.this has been discussed... the police had no probable cause to 'kick in the door'. there was nothing amiss, so to speak when the cops got to the house on longacre lane. and as far as the crime scene, the police would have released the crime scene for clean up. the clean up crew would not have been able to clean up the house just cause the family was on their way home.
