This is a brutal double homicide. LE is not rushing into this for the sake of an arrest. Cant you see that? The FBI is involved, the forensics take time. This was a very bloody and brutal crime scene. Each drop of blood in anayzed. Each centimeter of the duct taped stripped and gone over. This is not done in a few weeks. Each story rehashed.
I didn't say this was a cold case or the cops have nothing. How would I know what they have? I would guess they have plenty. I said I didn't think the killers are the hoodrats we've discussed. I'm no cop but I would be awfully surprised if a murder case not even three months old would be considered "cold".
Oh, and I've never watched CSI so I'm not even an armchair cop. So, you're right, I'm ignorant on how a murder investigation is done.
