ok now i see. i call it being a post whore. 
it usually applies to posting one post after another back to back. which is generally considered poor forum etiquette. or also bumping one's own thread repeatedly because nobody is posting in it. just for the sake of bumping or upping post count. (there's a thread in here somewhere called post whores...here--->

i do that all the time in my photo threads and some crime/case threads. some threads require tending, updating and added posts.
etiquette per se does not always prevail in Mock, which is ok. although i do like to keep crime threads free of bullshit since they are usually serious.
