He was with the Toledo PD. I don't know if he's retired.
If I am correct, I believe he also was an investigator for the Lucas County prosecutors office.
Or he's Mrs. C's real life husband.
BlueTiki, This is a great fellow he arrested that old Priest Robinson that murdered the poor Toledo Nun apparently he is retired from TPD. I found this on WTOL Toledo website.
"Investigator Tom Ross is 58-years-old and retired as a detective from the Toledo Police Department after 30 years. He has worked on 200 to 250 murders. Ross now works for the Lucas County Prosecutor's office and has helped solve 34 cold cases. He arrested Father Robinson in April of 2004."
