Poor Straub family? BOTH families are "poor" given what happened to their children, yet only one family has any sympathy here? The Clarke family has been dragged through the mud for your collective entertainment, from day one.
Not to mention, some of the Straub family members have asserted here that Johnny's "big mouth" regarding a reported safe, is what led to the murders. Pathetic logic. Especially considering reports of a safe were denied by the Straub family.
What Maytee said from the beginning is that her son was not connected to the murders. She said this because not only did the media immediately point to him, but because TW was a friend of Lisa's. And, because she had concerns that Lisa reportedly violent X was involved. I never heard her blame Lisa or the Straubs. She talked about the "demons" responsible from the beginning. She also retaliated against the incognito assaults and innuendo here and other places.
Who thinks like me? My position is that both families deserve compassion and sympathy given the horror they've experienced. I would venture to guess that most Americans think like me, in this regard.
