This puzzle doesn’t ooze with being a random robbery causing the deaths of the victims to be accidental by any means. It appears cold and calculated.

Sphincter Cop - you do such a good job at expressing things regarding this sad case - I agree with you many times.

I am leaning to more of a haphazard chain of events over anything calculated in the sense of homicide. The process in which the deceased were murdered perplexes me though. That is just not something you "think of" on the spot.

Could it be 2 immature brains reenacting the Manhunt 2 video game ? My son and his friends were telling me about the game so I looked it up .
On Youtube there are many videos related to the subject of suffocation using plastic bags. It is so sad and horrible.
