been away for a day, thanks for updates!
i have this:
Sam Williams Pre-trial ended....lasted for 1 1⁄2 hours.
Today the state called their first witness....Investigator Tom Ross to the stand. He was questioned by both the state and the defense team about how Williams Miranda rights were given to him and at which point in time the interview should have ended. Williams was question for just over an hour after being arrested for the double homicide which took place in Springfield twp. The defense team argued with Ross that the interview should have ended as soon as Williams stated that he had nothing else to say and that he wanted to go to booking. Ross said that Williams kept the dialogue open by continuing to ask questions. Williams continued to ask questions during his interrogation which in turn kept the interview going...Ross ended by saying "you can't have your cake and eat it too."
Williams will be back in court March 23 to deal with 43 motions which were filed by his defense team....one consisting of his mental status which his is currently undergoing testing.
