Maytee doesn't talk much about big John because there is no love between them, they are just partners in crime and can't seem to survive without one another. Don't forget big John actually hanged himself a few years ago...but was rescued by Maytee's sister who climbed through the basement window and got him off of the noose. He tried killing himself to get away from her crazy ass.
