Please ignore the prior post I screwed it up:
John was busted with a massive amount of Pot. Somewhere around a half a million dollars worth. Prior to his bust though...Maytee and John were involved in amounts of raids where DEA and FEDS raided them. The Clarkes have lways used young thugs to deliver their product, therefore they would be taking all of the risks. John was the muscle while Maytee was always in charge and calling the shots. They were street pushers of pot, crack, cocaine and pills. They seem to want to take over where other family members left off after the drug cartel that they were in was busted and they all went to prison.
I think if someone was dealing that type of product then they probably could have afforded better cars than the beater that Johnny sold AC.
They don't seem bright enough to save or launder the money.
