For several minutes yesterday, U.S. District Judge David Katz became emotional.
Noting that the Fourth of July was just a few days away, he congratulated a large group of newly naturalized U.S. citizens.
``It's a privilege and a great emotional high for me to be among the first to address you as fellow citizens,'' said the judge, who was presiding at the 40-minute naturalization ceremony at the Owen-Illinois world headquarters yesterday.
``You will now be able to participate fully in all of the rights, privileges, and perform all the obligations that cometh upon you as citizens of these United States of America.''
