his classification will be decided on the basis of what his needs are as an inmate. max or medium security, protective custody, safety of officers and other inmates, medical, other factors. i don't want to discourage anyone, but i would be very surprised if classification, who looks at everything, will be swayed by public opinion. i'm just being honest.
they do however, look at whether the inmate will have family support, since it makes for a better inmate behavior-wise if they do.
