i happen to work in a facility where people are confined for the safety of the community for mental health issues. obviously, we do not call them "retards", but that is for another thread
i would just like to say that pettaway has no business being in a facility such as mine. unfortunately from time to time, we get folks like him, but where he belongs is jail. he may be an idiot, but he does not have, from what i can see, any type of mental health issue that should effect his judgement in the way that he could be rehabilitated in this type of setting. he is just an asshole and a criminal and he belongs with criminals, not with the mentally ill. for what it's worth.
