Can a lawyer just remove themselves? I didn't think they could I tout they had to go to the courts and prove why they wanted to and have good reason once they have taken on the case? But if the client fires them that is or would be something different and the courts would give him more time to find an attorney. Either way I would think if the courts agreed to remove the attorney or if he fired the attorney I would think the courts would give him time. I just hope this doesn't continue, become a pattern and become a stall tatitic. How many times can you get a new attorney for your case?
