Yeah, they're all charged with felony assault. It's not the first time for Ramirez to face an assault charge either.
So, Maytee thinks the prosecutors are lazy.
Ramirez, on the other hand, called them overly aggressive and out to get his badge when he was charged with domestic assault against his crackhead ex-girlfriend back in 2002. He was acquitted by the jury.

It sounds like the TPD leadership and prosecutors knew that Ramirez was a bad apple way back then.
