I'm wondering if what was previously reported or how it was interpreted was accurate.
Some of the current reporting in regards to the plea makes it sound like maybe Ramirez called Maytee, Maytee dispatched John, and John was at the scene alone. There's been some confusing and inconsistent reporting between court docs and the limited media coverage.
John's charge was reduced from 'attempted murder' back down to 'felonious assault'. Maytee's reduced charges amount only to 'retaliation'. I think she was there and she's just as guilty in my mind either way. But, I was really hoping to hear the account of how it all went down in sworn testimony. If Ramirez doesn't end up taking a plea, I hope it comes out at his trial.
