I have no sympathy for these insurgent fucks who were taken prisoner after a battle where their goal was to kill Americans.

Neither do I, I would execute every insurgent found guilty of terrorist acts.

Who I do have sympathy for are the loads of innocent people who are basically kidnapped then locked up in Gitmo for years without any rights or the protection of the Geneva convention, only to be released with not even an apology.

I'm betting evvery one of those people had weapons when arrested, "we were fighting the insurgents just like you we were helping you" would be the quick answer.
