I was more or less in shock at the 'bumpkin' reference cuz I've never thought of myself as one.

When I think of the mid-west I think of the countryside, wide open spaces, corn fields, country fairs, cows & the Dixie Chicks.

Ya Home school sucks but I love the DOE, they do such a good job of indoctrinating our kids, it will only take them two generations to have all the patriots out of the way and a country full of "we need the government" robots.

Well, you may be on to something there. Private schooling is really the way to go right now. Got an extra $10K laying around for every year of high school? Actually, some parents are forking that out now for grade school.
