New England accents have dropped R's and it is said they are as close to the original English accent here as it gets.
England's accent has changed over the years too and you should man up and admit that.
I spent a whole day with 4 people from England and not one of them dropped their R's. I understood them perfectly.
I speak on the Skype with 5 other people from England and they do not drop their R's either. They speak clearly and without sounding like they have a mouth full of marbles.
So fuck you - admit it that you have regional accents that make you sound just as ignorant as you think some of our accents do.
And if you think R's should be dropped, you'll not argue with my NY accent. I drop my R's too.
Does that make me akin to you? Can I be perfect and white and British like you?
I'm going to go dye all my hair orange now and speak "English" so no one knows I'm a "braindead yankee shit heel motherfucker."
The only people in England that over emphasise their r's are people from the west country, devon, cornwall, that why you over emphasise your r's, the basic american accent is drawn directly from the west countryaccent of the pilgrims.
Outside of the west country and america and canadano other English speaking people on earth pronounce source while emphasising the r, even all those who speak ENGLISH as a second language.
This is just yet another case of a trumped up, arrogant yankee fuck who thinks they are right and the rest of the English speaking world iswrong.
"To pronounce source correctly you should do so with an American accent."
Bull-shit.
You would do well to remember the source of the language you speak bitch.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.
