Just came across this.
If Governor Cuomo is correct in his assessment, New Yorkers really may support the second coming of Weiner, no matter how much stupidity he displays.
Snip:
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says the comeback bids of Anthony Weiner and Eliot Spitzer are "great theater" -- and the Democrat apparently means that as a compliment.
Weiner and Spitzer -- both Democrats like Cuomo -- resigned from political office after sex scandals. Both are now leading or near the top of political polls for their respective New York City races, mayor and comptroller.
"It is great theater. It's great political theater," Cuomo told CBS News. "It's part of the charm of New York. We tend to have the eccentric. We tend to have the entertaining. And this is a little political theater and I think that's all people think of it. I don't think they think anything more of it."
