COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A Powder Springs woman has been charged with being married to two men at the same time, and police said it all started when she tried to steal a truck.

According to an arrest report, 48-year-old Diane Tucker married the first of the two men, Edwin Windelberg, in Gwinnett County in January of 2004. Then in 2007, Tucker married Cesar Alexandro Saldivar in Cobb County, according to an arrest warrant.

Investigators say Tucker didn't divorce Windelberg until April of 2008.

When Tucker completed an application for a marriage license in Cobb County probate court, she allegedly stated she had been married one time and that she had divorced in 2001, according to the sheriff's office.

Saldivar said he realized in 2009 that Tucker was allegedly already married to someone else.

Authorities discovered that Tucker was married to two men on October 6, the day after Tucker was arrested for allegedly trying to steal a pickup truck.

Tucker is accused of writing a check for more than $49,000 to Hardy Chevrolet in Paulding County for a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado K150. She allegedly stopped the payment on the check and claimed she never received the title, according to the warrant. Tucker allegedly received the title and pawned it for $5,000 in Cobb County, according to investigators.

Tucker is facing charges of bigamy, making false statements and theft by deception.
