It's not that I don't trust doctors and nurses its the nosocomial (took me a year to learn how to pronounce it) infections. Those little gazillions of critters that hang out in hospitals. This guy who inspects hospitals once told me they really try hard (most of the time) but infection control is so difficult in those massive structures filled with sick people. ...think of how many people you've ever heard of that went into hospitals for various reasons and then acquired "an infection"... My buddy told me "it was America's dirty little secret". But its a catch 22 cause if you tell the general public too much they won't want to go into hospitals when they need to.

They pay people to not tell. It doesn't hit the news so other people never know. Hospitals like Emory are supposed to be among the best in the region. If people knew what really went on in there, they would beg to go somewhere else.
