An 8-year-old boy was killed and his mother lost her arm in a horrific car accident, after the engine of a tractor-trailer careered across a busy highway and into their SUV.
Engine parts fell off an oncoming semitrailer and crashed through the windshield of their SUV near downtown Atlanta, authorities said.
the debris passed on through the SUV, killing her son, Cameron McIlwain, who was in the back seat.
Ms Malone’s second child, 19-month-old Kanary Malone, suffered minor injuries and was treated for small cuts and scrapes from shattered glass.
