WINSLOW, Maine -
Maine Game Wardens and state police divers searched the Kennebec River in Winslow Tuesday for Ayla Reynolds, the missing toddler who is feared dead.
State police spokesman Steve McCausland said searchers concentrated in the area of the Brookfield Dam behind the railroad yard.

McCausland said divers searched the river and dogs searched the river banks. He said nothing new was found in Tuesday's search.

Ayla was reported missing by her father on Dec. 17. He told police that he put her to bed the night before and discovered her missing the next morning.

Police believe Ayla is dead and say there is no evidence to indicate she was kidnapped.
